The work of Colombian artist Johanna Calle is presented as an ongoing investigation of the possibilities of drawing. However, what enriches her work is the multiplicity of paths traveled by the artist, who uses peculiar materials and processes: sewing, knotting, embroidery, sanding, burning, cutting, pasting, compressing or writing. This catalogue was published along the exhibition Variaciones políticas del trazo (Political variations of the trace) held in TEOR/éTica in 2008.
