Do It began in 1993 as an initiative by Christian Boltanski, Bertrand Lavier and Hans-Ulrich Obrist, who had the idea of producing ”an exhibition of a ‘do-it-yourself’ type of explanatory instructions or procedures that remain in a static state until they find a space. In 2002, TEOR/éTica carried out the Central American version of this show. This publication compiles the written instructions made by various artists for the execution of their work. Thus, Do It can be done anywhere, anytime, and by anyone, by simply following the instructions included in this book.
