Vulnerable Certainties. Chronicles of Artistic Debates from Guatemala compiles eight essays by Guatemalan critic and curator Rosina Cazali. Written between 1996 and 2015, her essays offer a sharp reading of the transformations of art during the period of war and postwar in contemporary Guatemala. Cazali has been one of the driving forces behind the dynamization of the artistic landscape in Central America since the mid-nineties, encouraging the creation of new spaces for critical exchange, research programs and curatorial practices in the region.
