Five essays by the Cuban-Costa Rican curator, researcher and writer Tamara Díaz Bringas. Since the late nineties, Tamara’s work has been decisive in contributing to the construction of the local and international field of debate about the region’s contemporary art. The essays collected here, written between 2001 and 2015, reveal her diverse interests and proposals, which range from the rigorous observation of artistic processes to the reflection on specific political conjunctures, from retrospective overviews to poetic exercises reflecting on the future.
